Lifestyle modelling and photography

The aim is to capture not only the product but also the essence of the lifestyle that comes with it. This is where lifestyle modelling comes into the picture.

Lifestyle modelling is a type of modelling that portrays a particular lifestyle, a representation of a brand's product or services. Lifestyle photography strives to generate an emotional connection between the product/service and the audience or potential customer. The idea is to create a story through the images that can connect with people on a personal level.

In lifestyle modelling, models are photographed in natural and candid poses, in natural settings, or doing natural activities that evoke a particular lifestyle or mood. This style of photography showcases the product or service in action instead of merely lining up the product for a flat, uninspiring shot. Lifestyle modelling aims to capture the feeling and sensation that comes with using the product or service and allows potential buyers to visualise themselves using it.

Knowing the importance of capturing the essence of what you are selling in a real life situation will help hugely. Not only does it make for more compelling images, but it also tells how to use the product in a real life situation.

With my modelling photoshoots I dive into your current portfolio, discuss what's working and what's missing. During the photoshoot I explain in detail what I'm creating with you and the direction I'm giving, helping you understand what to expect when going into a professional environment on a lifestyle photoshoot.
